Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1891, in very good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (mildly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the stock and handguard (s/n 21968).
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
Handguard has tiger striping throughout.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks and light gouges throughout the butt. Mild pressure marks on the wrist. Light gouge and mild pressure marks around the finger groove. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. Very small pin hole below the woodline before the front barrel band.
Receiver has heavily worn finish and mild to heavy patina. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish and mild patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard have lightly worn finish and light pitting. Magazine has light to mild finish wear.
P20 stamped, indicating privatization in 1920. "A" stamped below the serial number.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
