Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a light to mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. "StG" for St Gallen stamped above the finger groove. Mild pressure marks and light gouges before the rear barrel band. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are mild pressure marks on the butt in front of the rear sling mount. Mild pressure marks at the rear of the comb near he heel. Handguard has light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light surface marks throughout. Rear barrel band has heavy tool marks around the screw. Front barrel band has light edge wear and light surface marks. Trigger guard has light edge wear.

Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
