Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Stock has tiger striping on the butt.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark in front of the bolt release lever. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist. Light gouge before the front barrel band. Handguard has mild pressure marks before the front barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light patina. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish at the wrist. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine has lightly worn finish.
Receiver is P34 stamped, indicating privatization in 1934.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
