Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the center of the butt. Heavy pressure mark above the magazine. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge forward of the wrist. Light gouge on the upper edge of the finger groove. Mild pressure mark at the center of the comb. 1/2" crack at the heel. 1/2" crack at the receiver tang.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light surface marks throughout. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina.
