Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 3/5 Bore (mildly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the toe. Light gouge in front of the finger groove. Light gouge behind the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark on the wrist, over the trigger. Heavy pressure mark behind the finger groove and light gouging between the finger groove and rear barrel band. Handguard has light gouging between the ferrule and rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light patina and light pitting throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish and light pitting. Light finish wear and light patina on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
No P stamp noted.
