Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark behind the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there is a light gouge forward of the wrist, above the magazine. Light gouge behind the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a mild gouge in front of the magazine plate. Light gouging on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light to mild edge wear. Both barrel bands have light to mild finish wear and light patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light pitting.
Receiver is P19 stamped, indicating privatization in 1919.
