Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Firing pin ring has been repaired with a weld at the rear.
Tiger striping along the underside of the stock.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the forward end of the butt. Mild pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock, "StG" is stamped above the finger groove for St. Gallen. Light gouging on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. Handguard has light gouging in front of the ferrule.
Receiver has lightly worn finish, light pitting, and light surface marks. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish. Front barrel band has light to mild finish wear. Magazine has lightly worn finish.
P07 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1907.
Includes leather sling.
