Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge on the lower edge of the butt. Scratch below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there are scratches before the finger groove. Light gouging in front of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging on the butt between the sling mount and the wrist.
Receiver has areas of heavily worn finish. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and heavy pitting on the top side. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish and heavy pitting. Barrel has heavy pitting. Magazine plate and trigger guard has heavily worn finish and heavy pitting. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
P30 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1930.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
