Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1891, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has light tiger striping. on the butt.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks at the forward end of the butt. Light gouging before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark at the rear of the butt and a mild gouge on the wrist. Light gouging around the finger groove. Light gouging before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge halfway between the magazine plate and rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard have lightly worn finish and light pitting. Trigger guard has a blue tint to the finish.
P stamped receiver.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
