Antique Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in Good condition with 75% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt and a mild pressure mark on the wrist. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt and heavy pressure marks on the wrist. Light gouging before the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark on the lower edge of the finger groove. Light gouging between the finger groove and rear barrel band. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge on the butt at the heel. Light gouge before the front barrel band. On the top of the stock there is light gouging along the comb. Handguard has heavy pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band.
Receiver has heavily worn finish and light pitting. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish. Heavy finish wear at the muzzle. Magazine plate and trigger guard are approaching white. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
