Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges around the butt. Mild pressure marks between the wrist and the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks on the wrist. Heavy pressure mark above the finger groove. "StG" stamped above the finger groove, for St. Gallen. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist. Handguard has a light gouge near the ferrule and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Mild pitting on the left side of the receiver. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Magazine plate has light pitting. Trigger guard has light edge wear and light pitting.
