Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1897, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging at the forward edge of the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge halfway between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Mild scratch on the rear of the comb. Handguard has a light gouge near the ferrule. Heavy gouge before the front barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light patina. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard has lightly worn finish, light patina, and light pitting.

Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
