Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1896, in good condition with 70% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped. Lower bolt knob is cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark around the center of the butt. Light gouging before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark at the rear of the butt. Light gouging halfway between the wrist and the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge on the butt. Light gouge at the forward end of the comb. Handguard has light gouging between the ferrule and rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavily worn finish and light patina. Rear barrel band is in the white. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate and trigger guard has heavily worn finish.
P19 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1919.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
