Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1894, in Very Good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging around the rear barrel band and a mild pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. Light gouge before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge before the finger groove. Light gouging halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band and light gouge before the front barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light surface marks. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish.
P34 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1934.
·10 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1910.
Includes muzzle cover.
