Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in good condition with 75% finish. 3/5 Bore (mildly worn rifling, heavy pitting at the start of the rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Bolt knobs are worn.
Stock has light tiger striping around the butt.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy gouge on the butt, near the forward end of the comb. Heavy gouging above the magazine. Heavy gouge halfway between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there is a mild to heavy gouge on the butt near the center of the comb. Light gouging above the magazine. Heavy pressure mark before the rear barrel band between the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge on the butt.
Receiver has mildly worn finish and mild to heavy patina. Heavy surface marks on the right side of the receiver. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Trigger guard has light to mild finish wear and light patina. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
