Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in Very Good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt and white paint transfer below the comb. Heavy pressure mark above the magazine. Mild gouge in front of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. Heavy gouge at the woodline above the magazine. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges halfway between the magazine and rear barrel band. On the top of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the comb. Handguard has a light gouge before the rear barrel band and a severe gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mildly worn finish and light patina. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish and mild patina. Front barrel band has light to mild finish wear. Magazine plate and trigger guard have mildly worn finish and light patina. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
P32 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1932.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
