Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in Very Good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has a less than 1/4" length crack on the top of the wrist behind the receiver tang.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the wrist. Mild pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are a few light gouges between the wrist and the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. Handguard has light gouging in front of the rear barrel band and light gouging and a mild pressure mark before the front barrel band.
Receiver has light to mild edge wear. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish. Barrel has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate and trigger guard has mildly worn finish and light patina. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
P30 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1930.
Includes leather sling.
