Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1891, in Fair condition with 90% finish. 2/5 Bore (heavily worn rifling, light pitting at the start of the rifling). 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped. Lower bolt knob is cracked.
Stock has an unrepaired crack on the left side at the wrist.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt. Mild pressure marks above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge on the butt in front of the sling mount.
Receiver has light edge wear. Light surface marks at the rear of the receiver. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Magazine plate and trigger guard have lightly worn finish.
P33 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1933.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
