Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in Good condition with 75% finish. 3/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, mild pitting). 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are chipped.
Stock has an unrepaired crack above the magazine on the right side of the stock.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges around the center of the butt. Mild pressure mark below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. Light gouging between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a mild gouge in front of the magazine plate. On the top of the stock there is a scratch near the heel. Handguard has mild gouging near the ferrule.
Receiver has heavily worn finish and heavy patina. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Magazine plate and trigger guard have mild to heavy finish wear. Magazine has areas in the white on the left side and the base.
