Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. Matching serial numbers except for the bolt (s/n 194531).
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt and the wrist. Heavy pressure mark at the woodline between the stock and handguard. On the left side of the stock there are mild to heavy pressure marks on the butt above the sling mount. Heavy pressure mark forward of the wrist. Heavy gouge forward of the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the top of the stock there is light gouging at the rear of the comb.
Receiver has heavily worn finish. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish. Magazine has light to mild finish wear.
P24 stamped, indicating privatization in 1924.
Includes leather sling.
