Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in fair condition with 80% finish. 1/5 Bore (heavily worn rifling, mild pitting at the start of the rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Mild pressure marks above the magazine. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. Scratches along the comb.
Receiver has mildly worn finish and light to mild pitting at the rear. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish at the wrist. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina.
P34 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1934.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
