Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1891, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Upper bolt knob is also chipped.
On the right side of the stock, there are several small holes around the toe, possibly from insects. Light gouge behind the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy gouge near the top of the grip. Handguard has a heavy gouge on the top and right side next to the ferrule.
Receiver has mild to heavy finish wear and light pitting throughout. Both barrel bands have heavy finish wear. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P33 stamped, indicating privatization in 1933.
