Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (areas of very light pitting). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Lower bolt knob is also chipped.
Furniture had been previously sanded and refinished.
On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge low on the butt. Light scratches between the forward end of the grip and the finger groove. Handguard has light gouging behind the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear along the top side. Mild edge wear throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have mild finish wear. Magazine plate has light finish wear. Trigger guard has an area of mild pitting and light scratches around the center.
No P stamp.
