Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks around the center of the butt. Heavy pressure mark in front of the bolt release lever. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are light to mild pressure marks throughout the stock and grip. Heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band. Mild gouge on the comb and a heavy pressure mark at the forward end of the comb. Handguard has a heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
All bluing has mild patina and mildly worn finish.
Receiver is P20 stamped, indicating privatization in 1920.
