Uncommon Swiss 00/11 carbine which is a K11 Carbine manufactured from a W+F Bern Model 1900 Short Rifle. The original 1900 Short Rifle was manufactured in 1901 as part of the first 100 for trials.
00/11 Carbine is in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial numbers. Magazine matching serial number
Stock does not appear to have been sanded and refinished, and primarily has various light pressure marks scattered throughout. The handguard has cracks that have all been armory repaired: there is a small crack at the base of the handguard and two long cracks on the top of the handguard between the barrel bands.
All bluing has been refinished. The receiver has light edge wear around the loading slot and very light to light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Very light to light edge wear at the rear of the receiver. There are some scattered small surface marks in the metal. Trigger guard has light pitting. Magazine has a spot of light finish wear and a heavy impact mark on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped. "36" stamped underneath the serial number indicating armory refurbishment in 1936.
Soldier's tag found under the butt plate.
