Swiss 1780 black powder flintlock musket in very good condition. 4/5 Bore (light rust in the bore). 1/5 Stock. With bayonet.
Barrel measures 41", overall length is 56".
Tiger striping throughout the stock, predominantly around the butt.
1/4" crack on the right side of the wrist behind the side plate. Crack at the woodline on the left side, next to the side plate's upper screw. Both cracks are unrepaired.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the wrist. Light gouge behind the middle barrel band. On the left side there are light gouges on the wrist. Mild gouge below the side plate. Light gouge behind the first barrel band. On the underside there are light gouges behind the rear barrel band. Light gouging along the comb.
Completely in the white. Light surface marks on the side plates, lock plate, the three brass barrel bands, and brass end cap. Light pitting throughout the lock plate, hammer, pan, frizzen, and frizzen spring. Light pitting throughout the barrel.
Lock plate is stamped with "MICHE".
Includes socket bayonet. Bayonet has heavy pitting throughout. Small crack on the bayonet between the blade and the socket.
