Swiss Martini target rifle, made by Rudolf Elmer of St. Gallen, in good condition with 70% finish. 4/5 Bore. 2/5 Stock.
Chambered in 7.5x55 (GP11).
The left side of the forearm has a 1/2" crack at the rear and a 2" crack at the forward end. The right side of the forearm has a 4" crack at the forward end.
On the right side of the stock, there is a light scrape at the heel. A wooden inlay with the initials "HE" at the center of the butt. Light gouge at the forward end of the comb. On the right side of the forearm there are scratches near the rear end and a gouge around the center plate. Light gouging on the underside of the forearm.
Receiver finish is approaching white and has heavy patina throughout. Barrel finish is lightly worn, and has light patina and light pitting throughout. Operating lever finish is heavily worn and has heavy patina. The right side of the receiver is stamped with "RUD. ELMER ST. GALLEN". The top of the barrel is stamped in front of the rear sight with "EMIL KUGLER ARBON" (canton Thurgau).
