Mauser Luger P08, produced in 1939, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Grips. Matching serial numbers except for trigger bar, toggle pin, and bolt. Barrel non-serialized. Magazine matching serial number. Includes leather holster.
Bluing likely previously refurbished.
On the right side, there are scattered light surface marks on the frame. On the left side the frame and side plate has light pitting. Frame was stamped "P.08" above the grip. Below the takedown lever there is an area with small marks. Trigger bar is stamped with "31" and has an X over it with 94 marked with an electropencil. Front of the frame appears to have an encircled X stamped as well as a letter a. Heavy tool marks on the barrel near the muzzle end. On the underside the trigger guard has mild surface marks. Front strap and back strap has light pitting and patina.
Chamber is stamped 1939. Toggle is stamped with S/42. Right side of the receiver is stamped with eagle over 63, another eagle, and an eagle over swastika. Underside of the barrel is stamped with crown over N and is not serialized.
Grips are Volkspolizei ("VoPo") style. Grips have very good to excellent checkering.
Includes leather holster and Luger tool. Holster was made by Kern Kläger & Company of Berlin in 1936.
