Italian Carcano model 1891, produced in Terni in 1917, in good condition with 80% finish. 2/5 Bore (dark, heavy pitting throughout). 2/5 Stock.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks throughout the stock. Heavy gouge near the top of the comb. Light gouging on the wrist. Light gouging between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Heavy gouge toward the forward end of the butt. Heavy pressure marks and mild gouging under the rear sight. Heavy gouging on the forearm about halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock, there are light gouging on the forearm between the barrel bands. 1/4" crack at the heel. "M.F" stamped at the wrist.
The inside of the receiver has light to mild pitting, making it difficult to cycle the bolt.
Receiver has light pitting and multiple surface marks throughout. Light to mild surface marks around the barrel step. Barrel has light to mild finish wear throughout. Barrel bands and trigger guard has heavy patina.
Includes cleaning rod.
