Grünig & Elmiger Super Match target rifle, designed for use with ISSF 300m "Free Rifle" shooting competitions. Excellent condition with 95% original finish. 4/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Bright bore with lightly worn rifling. Wood stock is very clean with only light handling marks present. The target-style stock is configured for a left handed shooter. Adjustable palm rest at the grip. Stock has a butt plate that allows for adjustable for length of pull. The shoulder hook on the butt plate has a slight right bend to it. An adjustable stabilizing forward grip is included and installed. The bluing on the barrel and receiver are very dark. The bluing on the receiver has a slight plum tint behind the rear diopter sight.
The trigger was designed as a set trigger but it seems to have been disabled by the previous owner and operates as a standard trigger.
Rifle includes an eye blinder that is used on the rear diopter sight to cover one eye and a spare, rubber butt pad. Rear sight is a diopter/iris mount only and neither a diopter nor iris is included; mount is threaded M9.5x1, which is standard for many popular rear irises made by Anschutz, Gehmann, etc.
