Danish military contract SIG m/49, very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Grips. All matching serial numbers.
First series model; the hammer does not have the retrofit half-cock position.
Right side of the frame has light surface marks and light patina throughout. Trigger guard has light finish wear. Heavy finish wear on the beavertail. Left side of the frame has scattered light surface marks throughout. Light scratches below the slide stop lever. A few light surface arks and light scratches on the underside of the frame. Right side of the slide has light edge wear throughout. Left side of the slide has light finish wear and light patina toward the muzzle end. Front sight has light finish wear and has been painted white. Light surface mark on the rear sight.
The frame is stamped with "9mm P m/49" and the Danish crown over HTK, indicating that this pistol was manufactured for and issued to HTK, or Haerens Tekniske Korps (Army Technical Corps).
Walnut grips have a glossy finish and light handling wear.

The SIG m/49 is the Danish contract version of the Swiss SIG P49 / P210. Chambered in 9mm, it was issued to officers, military police, and special forces and was the standard sidearm for the Danish military for 60 years.
