Colt Lightning, produced in 1888, in good condition. No bluing remaining; everything is in the white with patina. 2/5 Bore (heavy pitting throughout). 3/5 Stock.
Chambered in .22; will accept both .22 Short and .22 Long.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. Light gouges throughout the left side of the butt. Butt plate has a chip on the bottom edge. Light gouging at the receiver tang. Right side of the forearm has a pair of cracks toward the underside. Left side of the forearm has a 1/2" crack at the forward end.
Heavy tool marks on the rearmost screw on the receiver tang. Light surface marks on the barrel around the rear sight.
