Antique Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1898, in very good condition with 85% finish. 3/5 Bore (mildly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Handguard has a 5" unrepaired crack on the top side between the barrel bands.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy gouges throughout the butt. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt and heavy gouging at the bottom of the butt. Heavy pressure marks above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a severe gouge on the pistol grip. Heavy gouge before the rear barrel band. Heavy gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. Handguard has light gouging on the right side in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mild edge wear and light surface marks throughout. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light pitting. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish and light surface marks. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
