Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1898, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the bolt knob.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy gouge at the forward end of the butt near the pistol grip. Mild pressure mark before the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks at the rear of the butt and a light gouge at the forward end of the butt. Light gouge before the finger groove. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has light gouging on the rear half and light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
All bluing was previously refurbished.
Receiver has light surface marks. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish.
P63 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1963.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
