Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1898, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Stock has a 2" crack on the underside on the pistol grip that was repaired with a pair of brass rivets.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge below the bolt release lever. Scratches around the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark halfway between the finger groove and the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark forward of the wrist. Light gouge before the rear barrel band. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear. Both barrel bands have light tool marks. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light edge wear.
