Antique Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1898, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Lower bolt knob is also chipped.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Light gouging between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Heavy pressure marks from the pistol grip to the finger groove. Light gouging before the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks around the finger groove. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light to mild gouges along the butt. Mild pressure marks between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Mild pressure marks along the comb.
Receiver has lightly worn finish, light patina, and light surface marks throughout. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light surface marks. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light edge wear. Magazine has lightly worn finish.
