This 98/29 rifle is in excellent condition with 98% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Stock matching serial number. Bolt matching serial number. Receiver and barrel finish is exceptional, with only minimal wear found on the front barrel band. Persian engraving indicates that this rifle was manufactured between 1930-1931 (Jalali calendar year 1309). The engraving of the Persian coat of arms is very sharp on the top of the receiver. Furniture has very few handling marks but does have a few marks likely from storage or transportation: there is a mark on the left side of the stock underneath the Persian text on the receiver, a medium sized dent on the right side of the stock below the receiver accompanied by three smaller dents, and a few more small dents sparsely scattered.
