Zastava M24/52C Mauser-pattern rifle, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. Stock matching serial number. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine plate matching serial number.
Furniture had been previously sanded.
On the right side of the stock at the butt it is stamped with what appears to rear "1.TRZ". Remnants of heavy gouging around the butt. On the left side of the stock, an old serial number of 11498 is seen stamped underneath the current receiver serial number. Wooden plug inserted at the grip which runs through to the other side. Light gouging near the bolt release lever. There appears to be a hole on the forearm between the two barrel bands with some sort of metal insert. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge in front of the rear sling mount. 1/2" unrepaired crack at the receiver tang. Handguard is cracked on the top side behind the front barrel band; crack is difficult to see but does run through the underside of the handguard. Light gouge on the right side of the handguard between the barrel bands.
Left side of the receiver is stamped with German nitro proof and Munich proof house stamp. Receiver is also stamped on the left side indicating that it was arsenal refurbished at factory number 44.
Receiver has multiple surface marks along the top side. Mild pitting on the right side of the rear barrel band. Heavy surface marks on the top side of the front barrel band. Multiple surface marks throughout the trigger guard and magazine base.
