This is a Yugoslavian contract Czech vz.24 Mauser, which is in excellent condition with 95% original finish. 4/5 Bore, 5/5 Stock. Stock matches serial number. Bolt matches serial number. Magazine matches serial number. Stock has little handling wear. The front barrel band is missing a spring and the barrel band is screwed into place. Includes rifle sling. Discreet import engraving.
Top of receiver has a model designation of "M24/52C" underneath the Yugoslavian crest. The "C" in the "M24/52C" indicates that this was Czech-manufactured. Small stamps in receiver appear to be previous possibly German import marks. ФНРЈ stamped on the left side of the receiver, which translates to "Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia". "ПРЕДУЗЕЋЕ 44" stamped on the left side of the receiver, which is the factory where the rifle was reworked: Factory/Company 44, which was part of Zavodi Crvena Zastava (Red Flag Works), now known as Zastava Arms.
