Walther PP, produced in 1977, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). All visible serial numbers matching.
Frame and slide have a highly polished blued finish. Right side of the frame has light edge wear on the forward edge and through the trigger guard. Light edge wear along the backstrap. Left side of the frame also has light edge wear on the forward edge and the trigger guard. Light edge wear throughout the front strap. Spot of finish wear at the upper rear of the frame where the slide has rubbed against the frame. Light finish wear along the front strap. Heavy finish wear above the backstrap, on the top end of the beavertail.
Slide has various light blemishes in the polished finish throughout. On the right side of the slide at the rear, there are a few scattered surface marks in the metal. The left side of the slide has a light rainbow coloration along the flat area. Light edge wear on the front and rear sights. Heavy finish wear on the face of the slide around the muzzle. Heavy finish wear on the rear of the slide, around the hammer.
The left side of the frame behind the trigger and the right side of the slide to the right of the serial number and German nitro proof is stamped with "Nds" in a box. This indicates that this Walther PP was once issued to the State Police of Niedersachsen in Lower Saxony, Germany.
Barrel is stamped with "HH" date code for (19)77, Ulm proof house stamp, and nitro proof.
