Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1949, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Diopter sights are installed.
Light to mild pressure marks throughout the right side of the stock. Swiss ordnance stamp is sharp and well defined. Mild scratches on the pistol grip and on the grip. Multiple mild pressure marks between the grip and the finger groove. Long, mild pressure mark to the right of the finger groove. Moderate scuffing between the stock and handguard before the rear barrel band. Finish wear between the two barrel bands. On the left side of the stock, there is heavy finish wear at the butt. Mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Heavy gouging on the grip. Heavy pressure marks and some gouging between the grip and the finger groove. Light gouging in front of the finger groove. Mild, shallow gouge on the forearm in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are multiple pressure marks and light gouges along the butt. Light scratches on the underside of the pistol grip. Heavy, shallow gouges between the end of the magazine plate and the rear barrel band. Moderate gouging on the comb of the stock. Handguard has a group of light gouges near the ferrule and a heavy gouge before the rear barrel band. Light, shallow gouge on the left side of the handguard, between the two barrel bands.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light edge wear around the loading slot. Mild finish wear on the barrel step. Both barrel bands have mild finish wear and light patina. Minor to very light finish wear on the magazine plate. Light finish wear on the trigger guard. Very light to light finish wear on the magazine.
W+F Bern K-Type diopter sights are installed. Rear diopter has six selectable apertures.
Receiver is P stamped. 57 stamped on the tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1957.
Includes leather sling.
