Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1945, in good condition with 75% finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting throughout the bore). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard non-matching serial number (853157). Includes bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there are mild to heavy gouges throughout the butt. Heavy pressure mark at the top of the wrist. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges forward of the wrist, above the magazine. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Light gouge on the pistol grip. In front of the magazine plate there is light gouging and some white paint transfer. Light gouging behind the front barrel band. Light gouging along the comb. 1/4" crack on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. Handguard has light gouging near the ferrule and light gouging between the barrel bands.
Receiver finish is heavily worn. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and heavy patina. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish. Barrel, front sight, and muzzle has heavily worn finish. Trigger guard has light edge wear and light pitting.
P stamped.
Includes leather sling.
Includes matching serial number model 1918 bayonet, made by Elsener Schwyz Victoria, with scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light pitting at the tip. Light patina throughout the guard and pommel. Scabbard finish is lightly worn and has light pitting throughout.
Leather frog was made by E. Muller of Gümmenen (Bern) in 1926.
