Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1945, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Included model 1918 bayonet matching serial number.
Light pressure marks found throughout the furniture. Stock has mild to fair finish wear at the butt. On the right side of the stock there is some scuffing around the butt and surface gouges on the bottom edge. Black coloration found behind the pistol grip. On the left side of the stock there is a very well defined wood grain patter around the butt. Fair handling wear at the woodline below the receiver. Small gouge inside the finger groove. To the left of the finger groove there is a gouge on the woodline between the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock there are a couple of gouges on the pistol grip. and a gouge on the grip, next to the magazine plate's rear screw. Several light marks found along the comb. There is a light gouge on the right side of the handguard near the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavy finish wear along the left side. Light to mild edge wear around the loading slot. Moderate to heavy finish wear and patina on the rear barrel band. Front barrel band has light edge wear and light tooling marks. Fair to moderate edge wear and moderate finish wear on the front sight. Magazine plate has a light mark next to the magazine catch. Light edge wear on the trigger guard. Light edge wear, mild finish wear, and mild patina on the base of the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
Matching 1918 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, includes scabbard and leather frog. Gouge on the wood grip panel. Blade tip is chipped and there are several strike marks on the blade edge. Scabbard has moderate to heavy finish wear.
Includes leather sling.
