Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1958, in very good condition with 90% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine non-matching serial number.
Furniture is a very bright and clean birch. It was previously very lightly sanded and refinished with a gloss clear coat. There is some orange peeling in the clear coat found on the forearm in between the two barrel bands. There is evidence of previous gouges in the furniture that may have been filled in before sanding and refinishing.
Receiver has light finish wear and some scattered very light scratches in the finish. Light edge wear around the loading slot. Both barrel bands have mild finish wear. Limited finish wear on the magazine plate. Trigger guard has mild edge wear and mild finish wear. Trigger guard has mild edge wear around the bottom edge.
Diopter sights are installed. Rear diopter sight, manufactured by Centra, is installed on a W+F BERN K-type mount and has an adjustable iris. Front sight is a W+F BERN K-type tunnel sight.
