Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1948, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the barrel (rebarreled with non-serialized Hammerli barrel). Diopter sights installed.
Rear sight features a micrometric fine adjustment device.
Furniture was previously refinished with a gloss finish.
Furniture has many competition participation stickers. Right side of the butt has a large 42nd World Shooting Championship sticker, which was held in Seoul, Korea. Handguard has several Schutzenfest stickers in front of the ferrule.
On the right side of the stock, there is a mild gouge near the forward end of the comb. Heavy pressure marks on the wrist. Light gouging in front of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt, pistol grip, and wrist. Light gouging between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the pistol grip. Heavy pressure mark and light gouge in front of the magazine plate. Mild gouging on the top of the wrist. Handguard has light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Both barrel bands have light to mild finish wear and light patina. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish. Magazine base has light pitting.

Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
W+F Bern K-Type diopter mount installed with six selectable apertures. Front sight is a tunnel sight. Sights include uncommon leather covers.
Includes leather sling.
