Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1946, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Furniture appears to have been previously sanded and refinished. The Swiss ordnance stamp on the right side of the butt is nearly gone.
On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges on the butt near the rear sling mount. On the underside of the stock, there are mild gouges at the toe. An armory repair was performed on the pistol grip. Light gouge near the front receiver screw. Light gouging along the comb. Small 1/4" crack behind the receiver tang. Handguard has a light gouge behind the rear barrel band.
All bluing was previously refurbished.
Receiver has light edge wear throughout. Rear barrel band finish is lightly worn. Front barrel band has light surface marks. Trigger guard has light edge wear.
P stamped. Soldier's tag found under the butt plate.
Includes leather sling.
