Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1945, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 2/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has an unrepaired 1" crack on the right side, rear of the finger groove.
On the right side of the stock there are light to mild gouges throughout the butt. Heavy pressure mark above the Swiss ordnance stamp. Mild pressure marks on the pistol grip and wrist. Light gouge below the bolt release lever. Mild gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges throughout the butt. Numerous light to mild gouges between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouging between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock, there is a mild gouge behind the rear barrel band. Heavy pressure mark behind the front barrel band. Light gouging along the comb. Handguard has scattered light gouging throughout.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light surface marks at the rear of the receiver. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish and mild patina.
No P stamp noted. 57 stamped on the receiver tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1957.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
