Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1940, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock, there is light gouging around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there is light gouging at the rear of the butt. Heavy pressure mark forward of the wrist. Heavy gouging before the rear barrel band. Heavy gouge between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges at the butt. Light gouging forward of the magazine plate. Handguard has a light gouge on the right side at the woodline before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the handguard there are mild gouges before the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light patina. Rear barrel band has mildly worn finish. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Trigger guard has light patina. Magazine has a heavy surface mark on the bottom edge.
P stamped. Soldier's tag found behind butt plate.
