Swiss K31 Carbine, produced for private sales and manufactured sometime between 1938 and 1939, in very good condition with 90% original finish. 3/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has various light pressure marks throughout. On the right side of the stock there are a few spots of white paint transfer on the edge of the butt. On the left side of the stock, there is a long scratch below the heel, running from the edge of the butt to the about the rear sling mount. There are a couple of light gouges above the trigger. Below the receiver there are several vertical scratches. On the underside of the stock there is an area of gouges in front of the magazine plate. There is a mild gouge before the rear barrel band. The handguard has a gouge on the left side before the rear barrel band and a light gouge on the top side near the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is dark. There is some light pitting present on the front right side. Both barrel bands have light patina. Very light finish wear on the magazine plate. Light edge wear on the trigger guard. Light finish wear on the magazine.
