Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1944, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes matching serial number bayonet.
Furniture was refinished with a gloss finish.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the wrist. Long, mild pressure mark below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there is light to mild gouging at the rear of the butt. Light gouge at the rear of the wrist. Splice found before the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging at the toe. Light gouging between the barrel bands. Handguard has a light gouge next to the ferrule. Mild pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Rear barrel band has light to mild finish wear and light patina. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish.
P stamped.
Includes matching serial number model 1918 bayonet, produced by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard and leather frog.
Bayonet likely a reissue as the serial number is stamped upside-down. Blade has grinding marks at the tip. Light surface marks on the pommel.
Scabbard has heavily worn finish and light scratches. Leather frog was made in 1942.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
